South Bend Redevelopment Commission
Regular Meeting - September 6, 1996
6. NEW BUSINESS (Cont.)
b. continued....
Mr. Knepp responded that there are
twelve spaces.
Mrs. Kolata asked if either Lex
Investments, Inc. or Mr. Emery have
determined how many spaces can go into
the parking lot.
Mr. Knepp stated that they had the
parking lot designed for sixteen parking
spaces which was the maximum density
and chose to reduce it to nine. The
sixteen was based upon the integration of
the lot and their driveway. They've asked
their architect to use a low- density pattern
which results in nine spaces.
Mrs. Aubun asked how many spaces were
in Mr. Emery's design.
Mr. Emery responded that the Asphalt
Engineers indicated to him that the City
would inform him of how many spaces
would be required.
Mrs. Auburn noted that the bids will be
referred to staff for review and report to
the Commission at a later date.
c.
