IV. Regular Business A. Approval of Minutes --July 16, 1990 Mr. Oxian asked that Part IV, D, 7, b be amended to state that Mr. Oxian was to speak with the Research Assistant and determine whether or not the letter submitted to the Executive Committee was, in fact, her letter of resignation. Mr. Nimtz moved to approve the minutes as amended. Mr. Herendeen seconded. Motion approved. B. Treasurers Report Mrs. Dixon stated that she would have a full budget report and grant projections later. Mr. Herendeen moved to approve. Mrs.i(Choitz seconded. Motion approved. Mr. Nimtz asked why the HPC returned grant monies in the last year. Mrs. Dixon stated that the office was under -staffed thus leaving some of the monies allotted for personnel unexpended. C. Correspondence See Page 8 D. Committee Reports 1. Certificates of Appropriateness (Reports) d. 405 W. Wayne Mrs. Dixon reported that the owners planned to install an air conditioning compressor along the side of the house, toward the rear, not to be visible from the street. She spoke to Mr. Oxian about the project before approving it. b. 729 Cottage Grove The owner proposed to replace an aluminum garage door with a wooden tri -paneled door, for which staff approval was given. C. 509 Edgewater Dr. The owner proposed to replace roofing on the body of the house in-kind with 3 -in -1 shingles to match roofing on the porch. Proposals for new guttering and fencing were :tabled by the staff until further information was provided by the owner. d. 1425 E. Wayne The owner proposed to remove roofing and replace in-kind. Mr. Oxian approved the C. of A. while Mrs. Dixon was out of the office. e. 344 S. Sunnyside Mrs. Dixon reported that the owners proposed construction of a new fence behind shrubbery (at setback of house). This was also staff approved.
