• <br />Mrs. Dixon reported that approximately <br />$2500 will be returning to the federal <br />government from the RP3 grants. <br />3. Legal <br />Requirement of Landscape C. of A.s -- <br />Mrs. Dixon reported that she and Mrs. <br />Choitz had discussed trying to get some of <br />the landscape architects and arborists in <br />the area to donate their services to serve <br />C. of A. patrons. Ms. Manier from the City <br />Attorney's office suggested that the <br />procedure to establish the list be reviewed <br />by the attorney's office to assure that no <br />conflicts of interest or unfair <br />recommendation practices be initiated by <br />such a listing. They must meet certain <br />credentials. Mrs. Choitz suggests that the <br />commission contact qualified persons to <br />determine if they would be interested. Mr.— <br />Oxian suggested that a motion be made to • <br />set up procedures for establishing and <br />utilizing the services of these <br />professionals and that such'procedures be <br />reviewed by the city attorney's <br />representative (David Chapleau). <br />Mrs. Choitz moved to initiate a plan to <br />develop procedures for determining eligible <br />professionals and procedures for their use, <br />pending approval of Mr. Chapleau; Mrs. <br />Sporleder seconded.
