offer Mr. Pastor the position at a salary <br />•of $15,000 annually. Mrs. Petrass moved to <br />hire Mr. Pastor as Survey Manager at the <br />salary requested; Mr. Eide seconded; motion <br />approved. <br />8. Staff Reports <br />a. Quarterly Regional Meeting -- Mrs. <br />Dixon announced that the Historic <br />Landmarks Foundation of Indiana <br />Northern Regional Office will be <br />conducting a meeting on the topic of <br />public relations on June 21st. <br />b. Bi -Monthly Report -- Mrs. Dixon <br />reported that little had changed in the <br />past two months. The survey is nearing <br />completion and will be turned in to the <br />state office in July. <br />c. Meeting with David Kroll of DHPA -- <br />Mrs. Dixon reported that David Kroll <br />• has been assigned the task of CLG <br />Coordinator for the state and will be <br />meeting with all CLGs in the northern <br />portion of the state on June 26th. <br />V. Old Business <br />VI. New Business <br />CLG Training Session -- Mrs. Dixon conducted a brief <br />training session (to comply with CLG requirements) <br />regarding the most effective and appropriate <br />procedures which a commission should follow in order <br />to maintain their professional reputation. Mrs. Dixon <br />answered questions from commission members. <br />Mrs. Sporleder brought up the topic of the proposed <br />Little League park at Edison and Hickory Roads. She <br />voiced concern over the removal of a large stand of <br />trees in that area. The commission requested that <br />Mrs. Dixon find out what type of trees existed in that <br />area and that she send a letter to the parks <br />department to state that the commission advocates <br />saving trees. <br />VII. Anouncements <br />and Miscellaneous Matters <br />• No Report <br />VIII. Adjournment <br />The meeting adjourned at 9:20 p.m. <br />
