Mrs. Sporleder asked Mrs. Dixon to <br />read the Certificate of Appropriateness. <br />Mrs. Sporleder moved to grant the owner's <br />request. Mrs. Petrass seconded. Motion <br />approved. <br />2. 528 River Avenue <br />Mrs. Dixon reported that the owner proposes <br />to remove the existing porch and replace <br />the rotted tongue -in -groove floor with <br />either wood or concrete. The porch <br />supports are to be replaced with supports <br />of a slightly different design. Wood is to <br />be used on all. Mr. Oxian asked the owner • <br />if they would be using wood flooring. Mr. <br />Carson (owner) state that they would use <br />wood only if it did not have to be <br />tongue -in -groove. <br />Mr. Carson explained his intentions using <br />the sketch he provided the Commission. <br />Mrs. Sporleder stated that she would like <br />to table the issue in order to help the <br />owner devise a morn aesthetically -pleasing <br />design in keeping,with the style of the <br />house. Mrs. Sporleder moved to table; Mrs. <br />Choitz seconded; motion approved. <br />3. 1041 Riverside Drive <br />Mrs. Dixon reported that the owner proposed <br />to remove a tree from the front yard. Mr. <br />Oxian asked for a motion to table this <br />proposal until Mr. Barncord would be able <br />to look at the tree and voice an opinion. <br />Mrs. Sporleder so moved; Mrs. Choitz <br />seconded. Motion approved. <br />4. 2119 Portage Avenue <br />Mrs. Dixon reported that the owner proposes • <br />to reconstruct a deteriorating chimney in <br />the same style as the existing. He would <br />like to use a brown brick rather than a red <br />brick as it would be difficult to match the <br />existing color. Mrs. Choitz moved to table <br />
