Mrs. Sporleder moved to grant the owner's request. Mrs. Petrass seconded. Motion approved. 2. 528 River Avenue Mrs. Dixon reported that the owner proposes to remove the existing porch and replace the rotted tongue -in -groove floor with either wood or concrete. The porch supports are to be replaced with supports of a slightly different design. Wood is to be used on all. Mr. Oxian asked the owner • if they would be using wood flooring. Mr. Carson (owner) state that they would use wood only if it did not have to be tongue -in -groove. Mr. Carson explained his intentions using the sketch he provided the Commission. Mrs. Sporleder stated that she would like to table the issue in order to help the owner devise a morn aesthetically -pleasing design in keeping,with the style of the house. Mrs. Sporleder moved to table; Mrs. Choitz seconded; motion approved. 3. 1041 Riverside Drive Mrs. Dixon reported that the owner proposed to remove a tree from the front yard. Mr. Oxian asked for a motion to table this proposal until Mr. Barncord would be able to look at the tree and voice an opinion. Mrs. Sporleder so moved; Mrs. Choitz seconded. Motion approved. 4. 2119 Portage Avenue Mrs. Dixon reported that the owner proposes • to reconstruct a deteriorating chimney in the same style as the existing. He would like to use a brown brick rather than a red brick as it would be difficult to match the existing color. Mrs. Choitz moved to table
