• <br />MINUTES <br />Third Floor Conference Room County/City Building <br />7:30 p.m. --Regular Monthly Meeting <br />June 18, 1990 <br />I. Call to Order <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m. <br />II. Roll Call <br />Members Present: Mr. John Oxian, Mrs. Janeanne <br />Petrass, Mrs. Martha Choitz, Mr. Jed Eide, Mrs. Jean <br />Dennen, Mrs. Joann Sporleder, Mrs. Lori Dixon - <br />Director, Ms. Jenny P. Manier for David Chapleau - <br />City Attorney. <br />Members Absent: Mr. Odell Newburn, Mr. F. Jay Nimtz, <br />Mr. Herb Herendeen. <br />Others Present: Kit Carson - 528 River Ave., Joe <br />Bellina - 1142 Lincoln Way East, Barbara Steele - <br />• Southhold Restorations. <br />III. Public Hearing <br />A. Certificates of Appropriateness <br />1. 808 Golden Avenue <br />Part I: Mrs. Dixon reported that the owner <br />proposes to remove two dead/dying trees on <br />th corner of Riverside and Golden; Remove <br />one tree resting on wires in the back; and <br />remove lower branches of tree in front of <br />808 Golden. A motion was made to table <br />this portion of the proposal until the next <br />meeting, to allow time for David Barncord, <br />Landscape Architect, to look at the trees <br />and offer an opinion on their.ability to be <br />salvaged. <br />Part II: Mrs. Dixon reported that the <br />owner proposed to replace the soffit board <br />and eaves trough in-kind on 1075 Riverside; <br />replace cornice board around porch <br />floor/foundation in-kind on 1075 Riverside. <br />Mrs. Choitz discussed the verbage of the <br />staff report ("permitted" versus "shall"). <br />She stated that she thought she saw <br />• aluminum soffit on the building. Mr. Oxian <br />requested that the Certificate of <br />Appropriateness state that the soffit be <br />wood, not aluminum. Mrs. Sporleder <br />discussed the type of gutters to be placed <br />on the house. Mrs. Choitz stated that the <br />
