Mr. Newburn seconded. Motion <br />approved. <br />4. Historic District <br />No Report <br />5. Historic Landmarks <br />a. 1028 E. Wayne Street <br />Mrs. Dixon reported that no further <br />correspondence had occurred between the <br />owner of the property and the HPC office <br />since October, when Mrs. Dixon sent the <br />appropriate forms to the owner with a <br />request that action be taken promptly. <br />The porch has fallen into a greater state <br />of disrepair since that time. <br />Mr. Herendeen moved that the HPC petition <br />Code Enforcment to enforce the standards <br />of the ordinance and force the property <br />owner to make the necessary repairs. Mr. <br />Eide seconded. Motion approved. <br />6. Public Relations & Community Education <br />a. Address to Appraisers <br />Mr. Pastor reported that he had addressed <br />a group of local appraisers earlier in <br />the month and that the speech went well. <br />7. Personnel <br />a. Secretarial Applicants <br />Mrs. Dixon reported that the Personnel <br />Committee had received copies of the four <br />of the applicants who seemed well <br />qualified for the secretarial position. <br />She requested that the committee read <br />through the applications and notify Mrs. <br />Dixon of their opinions regarding who to <br />interview. <br />b. Status of Personnel Policy <br />Mrs. Dixon reported that the personnel <br />policy adopted in September seemed to be <br />working well for the most part, but that <br />there had been some tardiness. Mr. <br />Pastor had been tardy a few times and <br />
