Ms. Kiemnec reported that the 'Administrative <br />Assistant'position has not been filled; she stated that she <br />has advertised in the South Bend Tribune and through the <br />County and has had a few responses. <br />h. Committee Assignments <br />1) Mrs. Sporleder distributed the Committee Assignments for 1986 <br />(see Appendix B). <br />Mr. Newburn made a motion to return to the original order of the agenda; <br />Mr. Nimtz seconded, motion carried. <br />7. Old Business <br />a. St. Louis Preservation Conference <br />Ms. Kiemnec reported on the St. Louis Conference which she <br />attended. She will get a complete report to all Commission <br />Members concerning this conference. <br />b. 1?86 Goals <br />A list of the 1986 Goals was passed out at the February meeting. <br />All Commission Members that were -present recw/ived a copy. Anyone <br />not receiving a copy will receive one in the mail (see Appendix <br />C). <br />C. Darden Road Bridge <br />Ms. Kiemnec reporte.d--t]za.t_. she had receiv�d-,ax-letter from Mr.- <br />Lichtensteimn regarding a breakdown of expenses for restoration of <br />the Darden Bridge. Mr. Lichtenstein will com to South Bend in <br />late April to discuss the project with County officials. <br />d. Fredrickson House <br />-- <br />Mrs. Petrass asked about the present status of the Fredrickson <br />House. The Commission asked Ms. Kiemnec to contact the First Bank <br />and Code Enforcement to find out the status of the house. <br />8. New Business <br />a, 315 W. Madison <br />Mr. Oxian received word that the house at 315 W. Madison (c. <br />1860) is to be demolished. The Commission asked Ms. Kiemnec to <br />check with the property owners and Code Enforcement to see what <br />the Commission can do to save this house. <br />b. Landmark Farms in St. Joseph County <br />Mr. Oxian brought to the Commission's attention an article in the <br />January issue of Preservation News regarding the tax act and <br />4 February 17. 1986 <br />
