0 <br />2) 1010 Riverside Drive <br />Ms. Kiemnec reported that she has approved the removal of two <br />flower boxes (not original to the house) and the installation <br />of a window air conditioner in a side staircase window not <br />visible to the street. <br />3) 1216 Lincolnway East <br />Mr. Jerry Hubner of this address has requested approval of an <br />addendum to his original Certificate of Appropriateness in <br />regard to changes in the garage as indicated in the staff <br />report (Appendix B). Mr. Nimtz moved to approve the addendum <br />as indicated; Mr. Hayes seconded, motion carried. Mr. Hubner <br />was reminded that he needs to obtain zoning approval. <br />4) 1093 Riverside Drive <br />Ms. Kiemnec reported that she approved the installation of the <br />outdoor unit to a central air conditioning system at the rear <br />of the house so that it would not be visible to the street. <br />5) 619 Edgewater Place <br />Ms. Kiemnec reported that Kevin Smith of this address had <br />constructed a planter at the top of the retaining wall in <br />place of the railing, but has not installed the railing to the <br />stairway as indicated in the original plan. He estimated that <br />the stairway rai)ing will be installed by the August 18 <br />Commission meeting. Installation of the railing will be in <br />compliance with safety regulations of the building department. <br />6) 705 Lincolnway East <br />Ms. Kiemnec reported to the Commission that Code Enforcement <br />will demolish the garage and charge the demolition costs to <br />the owner and that the issue of the railing has been referred <br />to the city legal department. <br />7) 815 Arch <br />Mr. Chapleau reported his investigations into whether the <br />Commission has any jurisdiction over the seawall as a result <br />of an inquiry from the June Commission meeting. Mr. Nimtz <br />moved that the Commission bring to the attention of the <br />Department of Natural Resources the condition of the seawall <br />and request DNR to recommend a measure to correct the <br />deterioration and bulging of the seawall. Mr. Oxian seconded; <br />motion passed. ' <br />8) 1075 Riverside <br />Ms. Kiemnec reported that complaints have been received from <br />the Liaison Committee in regard to deterioration of the soffit <br />4 <br />
