Ms. Kiemnec stated that the County budget and the Community <br />Development budget have been submitted and that we are awaiting a. <br />response. <br />b. Historic Districts <br />1) Riverside Historic District <br />Mrs. Violet Rohrer announced that a meeting regarding <br />streetlights with Mr. Oxian wi l l be held at 6:30 on ,Jule 30. <br />A general meeting of the entire Riverside Historic District <br />t,.li 1 1 be held tentat i vel y on Sunday, October 15. This 11 <br />possibly include a potluck dinner. Mrs. Rohrer requested that <br />the way of electing � the Liaison Committee members be changed <br />to allow for the staggering of terms. <br />Mrs. C:hoitz recommended again that the matter regarding <br />staggered terms be referred to the historic district <br />committee. <br />2) East 14ayne Street <br />Mrs. C:hoitz, Chairperson of the Historic District Committee, <br />indicated that the district steering committee is nearing <br />• completion of their standards. She also indicated that the <br />steering committee has completed its straw poll which <br />indicated minimal opposition to seeking historic district <br />status. <br />C. North Shore <br />Mr. Frank Cousseras, Jr. of this address has requested <br />permission to remove two large pine trees at the front of the <br />house. Staff report is included as Appendix A. heir. P•limtz <br />made a motion to Approve the removal of the trees; Mrs. <br />Petr•ass seconded. Mr. Oxian, Mr. Hayes, and Mrs. Choi tz Noted <br />.against, with two for and one abstention.
