2) Lincolnway East Historic District <br />a) Certification <br />Ms. Straw reported that an application for Certification <br />of the Lincolnway East Historic District has been sent to <br />the State Historic Preservation Office. Certification of <br />the district will allow owners of depreciable property to <br />use the Investment Tax Credit. <br />c. Historic Landmarks <br />1) Committee Meeting Report <br />Mr. Oxian reported that his committee met to discuss the <br />Facade Easement Program. He distributed a report explaining <br />the program (see Appendix A) and indicated that it is a <br />preliminary outline which will need to be expanded on. Mrs. <br />Choitz made a motion to accept the draft of the program and to <br />proceed with its development; Mr. Nimtz seconded; motion <br />passed. <br />• 2) Darden Bridge <br />Ms. Kiemnec reported that there will be a meeting to discuss <br />the Darden Bridge on June 19 at 4:00 p.m. in the MACOG <br />conference room. <br />d. Legal <br />The Legal Committee also met to discuss the Facade Easement <br />Program, see above. <br />e. Public Relations & Community Education <br />Ms. Kiemnec reported that she is continuing to work on funding for <br />the Historic Districts Brochure. <br />f. Environmental Impact Statement <br />1) 1216 Lincolnway East <br />Ms. Kiemnec reported that she had issued a Certificate of <br />Appropriateness for 1216 Lincolnway East for a new fiberglass <br />shingle roof and for installation of a central air <br />conditioning system. The units will be screened by <br />is landscaping. <br />3 <br />
