n
2) 619 Edgewater
Ms. Kiemnec explained that Mr. Kevin Smith, owner of the
property at 619 Edgewater Street, had received a Certificate
of Appropriateness in May of 1984 to construct a boat launch
(see Appendix B). Since he has not completed the project and
it currently is constructed of concrete block which is in
violation of the standards, the Commission sent him a letter.
Mr. Smith came in to request the use of a stucco substance
over the concrete wall rather than fieldstone as originally
requested. Mr. Hayes made a motion to approve the stucco but
it died for lack of a second. The Commission did not act on
Mr. Smith's request, reaffirming the 1984 Certificate of
Appropriateness.
Mr. Nimtz made a motion to resume the usual order of the agenda; Mr.
Oxian supported.
g.
