Mr. Oxian made a motion to accept the report; Mrs. Choitz seconded; motion passed. 4) 619 Edgewater Ms. Kiemnec reported that the fieldstone on the riverbank project of Mr. Kevin Smith at 619 Edgewater is almost completed. 5) Union Station Mr. Tom Kenrick of Hurtt Kenrick and Associates, architects for the Union Station project, , presented final plans • drawings, and materials for the proposed restoration of the building. He addressed the six items questioned by the Certificate of Appropriateness Committee in November, 1984 when it reviewed preliminary plans (see Appendix D). Mr. Oxian made a motion to accept the plans as proposed provided that any changes to the plans will be brought to the attention of the Commission; Mrs. Choitz seconded; motion passed. • 6) 1346 Lincolnway East Ms. Kiemnec reported on a project at 1346 Lincolnway East which was done without a Certificate of Appropriateness. She was called on June 27, 1985 by the owners for a review of new porch steps and balustrade. She set up an appointment for July 1 but when she arrived the project was half completed. Ms. Kiemnec told the owners to cease work and sent a letter on July2 to that effect, however., the project was completed by July 3rd. Mr. Oxian made A`Voaisapprove the steps and step balustrades due to inappropriate scale and proportion and to have them removed; Mrs. Choitz seconded; motion passed. 7) Reports Mrs A DeLaruelle reported that a roof is being constructed at 722 �hout a Certificate of Appropriateness. 4
