• <br />Mr. Oxian made a motion that the Commission recommend 1204 <br />Lincolnway West to the Common Council for landmark status; <br />Mr. Beatty seconded; motion passed. <br />2) Updated Landmark Lists <br />Ms. Straw distributed updated landmark lists that she had <br />prepared (see Appendix B). They were also distributed to all <br />the appropriate city and county agencies. Mrs. Sporleder <br />suggested that some efforts might be made to contact all the <br />owners to remind them of their landmark status, thank them <br />for their continued preservation efforts, etc. The matter <br />was referred to Mr. Hayes' committee on Public Relations & <br />Community Education. <br />3) Facade Easement Report <br />Mr. Oxian reported that the landmark committee had reviewed <br />the facade easement proposal and recommended its passage by <br />the Commission. Because there were some questions on the <br />• proposal, Mr. Nimtz made a motion that the matter be referred <br />to the Legal Committee and put on the agenda for May's <br />meeting; Mrs. Choitz seconded; the motion passed. <br />4) Darden Bridge <br />Ms. Straw reported that she is working on the National <br />Register nomination for the bridge and she will be in touch <br />with Mr. Lauer from Notre Dame to see what their progress has <br />been on the project. <br />5) Former Central High School <br />Mr. Oxian suggested that the Commission get in touch with the <br />Area Plan Commission who will be reviewing preliminary sight <br />plans for the former Central High School to remind them that <br />the building is a landmark and will need to have plans <br />reviewed by the Commission. <br />d.
