Staff Report <br />1) Small Town Survey <br />Ms. Kiemnec reported that the Notre Dame intern working for <br />the Commission has completed his history of St. Mary's <br />College, the last of the histories for the Small Town Survey. <br />She will review it and get it to the Small Town Survey <br />Committee for comments. <br />2) Industrial Buildings Project <br />Ms. Kiemnec reported that Mr. Wallar has completed research <br />on all but the Oliver and Studebaker complexes which he is <br />scheduled to complete by the end of the week. She <br />• distributed Criteria Sheets (see Appendix C) which are the <br />criteria on which National Register eligibility will be <br />based. Mr. Wallar will begin filling them out, the staff <br />will review them and then they will be reviewed by the <br />Landmarks Committee. <br />3) Preservation Plan <br />The chapter on re-evaluation of buildings and landmark <br />procedures was discussed in caucus and revisions were <br />suggested. These changes will be made and reviewed by the <br />Landmark Committee who will then make recommendations to the <br />Commission. <br />7. Old Business <br />a. Mayor's Conference <br />Ms. Kiemnec distributed brochures for the upcoming Mayor's <br />Conference. She reported that brochures were mailed out on <br />Friday, April 13 to area architects, accountants, attorneys, <br />developers, and contractors. <br />• 5 <br />
