Commission of Nashville, Tennessee. <br />g. The Old -House Journal December, 1984. <br />h. A letter from Mr. Bernard S. Hives, Treasurer of the South Bend <br />Civic Theatre Inc. (see Appendix A), a copy of a letter to the <br />Mayor regarding the Civic Theatre from Ralph V. Myers, President <br />of the Park Avenue Neighborhood Association (see Appendix B), and <br />the DANA Newletter for November, 1984 (see Appendix C). All are <br />in regard to the fire at the South Bend Civic Theatre. The <br />Commission directed Ms. Kiemnec to write a letter to the Civic <br />Theatre with a copy to PANA indicating the Commission's support <br />of any efforts to restore the building. <br />Ms. Kiemnec reported that the 1985 Preservation Law Reporter has <br />been ordered and will be paid for by Redevelopment. <br />6. Committee Reports <br />a. Budget $ Finance <br />No Report <br />is b. Historic Districts <br />1) Riverside Drive Historic District <br />Ms. Kiemnec reported that the steering committee for <br />Riverside Drive has completed the first draft of their <br />standards. Ms. Kiemnec and Mrs. Choitz have reviewed the <br />standards which will be ready for review by Commission <br />members in January. A public hearing will be held on the <br />Riverside Drive Historic District designation at the regular <br />monthly meeting of the Commission In January. <br />2) Lincolnway East Standards <br />Ms. Straw reported that the Standards booklet for Lincolnway <br />East is almost ready to go to the printers. It should be <br />completed in January. <br />c. Historic Landmarks <br />Mr. Oxian reported that 322 W. Marion was designated a landmark <br />by the Common Council on December 3, 1984. <br />... 1 <br />0 No Report <br />2 <br />
