2) Riverside Drive <br />Mrs. Choitz reported that a preliminary meeting had been held <br />with Riverside Drive residents to determine interest in a <br />district there. She indicated that another meeting will be <br />held within three weeks to begin to organize the district. <br />c. Historic Landmarks <br />1) Fredrickson House <br />Mr. Oxian and Mrs. Choitz reported on the meeting called by <br />Mrs. Beverlie Beck, President of the Common Council, to <br />discuss the Fredrickson House. They indicated that Southhold <br />Restorations will attempt to work with the Trustees of the <br />bank to open up the house for tours to the community. <br />d. Legal <br />No Report <br />e. Public Relations & Community Education <br />No Report <br />f. Environmental Impact Statement <br />1) 129 W. North Shore <br />Ms. Kiemnec reported on a Certificate of Appropriateness for <br />this property. The owners will remove the present asphalt <br />shingle roof and replace it with an Owens Corning, 3 in 1, <br />225 Ib., asphalt shingle roof. The garage roof will be <br />covered with the same material. Ms. Kiemnec approved the <br />work. <br />2) 557 Edgewater Drive <br />Ms. Kiemnec reported that the owners will replace wooden <br />frame foundation windows with Fiberlux solid vinyl frame <br />windows. The windows to be replaced are on the side and rear <br />facades of the house. She approved the work. <br />3) Certificates of Appropriateness <br />Mrs. Sporleder expressed her concern at the Commission's <br />handling of C. of A.'s when work has begun either without a <br />Certificate and/or without a Building Permit.
