Historic Districts <br />1) Lincolnway East <br />Jeff Berndt, spokesperson for the Lincolnway East neighborhood committee, read <br />the neighborhood's.reasons for wanting an historic district designation <br />(see appendix A) and indicated their proposed boundaries: The railroad <br />tracks (South), the property line between St. John's Business Machines <br />at 1134 L.W.E. and 1154 L.W.E. (West), the north side of Lincolnway East <br />(North), and the rear property lines of the west side_of Vernon Street <br />(East). The Commission suggested that the committee change the north <br />boundary to extend to the riverbank. The Commission announced that a <br />public hearing will be held on the designation of .Lincolnway East as a <br />local historic district on December 19, 1983 at 7:30 p.m. <br />c. Historic Landmarks <br />1) First Reading.for Landmark Status for 1007 Riverside Drive. <br />A first reading was held for 1007 Riverside Drive, rated S/12 on the <br />survey. Mr. Oxian indicated that he has the consent of the owner, Linda <br />Tabor. <br />2) First Reading for.Landmark Status for 1059 Riverside Drive. <br />A first reading.was held for 1059 Riverside Drive, rated S/12 on the survey <br />Mr. Oxian indicated that he has the consent of the owner, Mrs. Violet <br />Rohrer. <br />3) First reading for Landmark Status for 65160 Redwood Road. <br />Mr. Oxian explained that he has -the consent of the owner, Mrs. Betty L. <br />Renbarger; Mr. Wasielewski asked that a history be preparedfor the <br />property. Mr. Oxian made a motion to change the rating from C/10 to <br />S/11; Mrs. Choitz seconded; motion passed. <br />d.
