South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - May 3, 1996 <br />j . Commission approval requested for <br />Commercial Lease with Family & <br />Children's Center Properties <br />Management, Inc. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that we closed on the <br />property with Family & Children's Center <br />on May 2, buying their existing building. <br />We also closed on their purchase of land <br />for their new building. This lease leases <br />their existing building back to them at $1.00 <br />per year until they vacate it. They are <br />responsible for all maintenance. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Hunt, seconded by <br />Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Commercial <br />Lease with Family & Children's Center <br />Properties Management, Inc. <br />k. Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1429 determining to pay <br />certain expenses incurred for local public <br />improvements in or serving the South <br />Bend Central Allocation Area (South <br />Bend Allocation Area No. 1A) from the <br />South Bend Central Allocation Area <br />(South Bend Allocation Area No. 1A) <br />Special Fund. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that Resolution No. <br />1429 states the Commission's intention to <br />appropriate $40,000 for costs associated <br />with local public improvements. It sets the <br />Public Hearing on this appropriation for <br />May 17, 1996 at 10:00 a.m. <br />-11- <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE <br />COMMERCIAL LEASE WITH FAMILY & <br />CH UL DREN' S CENTER PROPERTIES <br />MANAGEMENT, INC. <br />
