Historic Districts <br />1) Edgewater Place Historic District <br />a) 601 605 and 617 Lincolnway East <br />Ms. Kiemnec reported that there has been no word from the City Building <br />Commissioner as to his decision on the Commission's request for a one <br />year delay of the demolition request of 601 Lincolnway East. There <br />has been no further correspondence received on 605 or 617 either. <br />b) Edgewater Letter <br />Ms. Kiemnec read a letter (Appendix A) composed by the Edgewater Place <br />Historic District Liaison Committee. She requested permission to have <br />it printed and distributed to all Edgewater owners. The cost to the <br />Commission would be approximately $7.00 for duplicating and postage to <br />non - resident owners. Ms. Sporleder made a motion that the Commission pay <br />for duplicating and postage (only_ living "in the district) <br />and that these letters be distributed; Mr. Oxian seconded; motion approved. <br />c) Historic Landmarks <br />1. Second Reading on 314 West LaSalle & 233 North Lafayette <br />Ms.._DeLaruelle made a motion that these buildings be declared land- <br />marks by ordinance and sent to the Common Council; Mr. Oxian seconded; <br />motion carried. <br />2. Second Reading on 518 North Lafayette <br />Ms. Kiemnec read correspondence on this matter from the South Bend <br />Medical Annex' Attorney, Edward N. Kalamaros (Appendix B) and from <br />Jeff Gibney of Southold Heritage (Appendix C). Mrs. Sporleder made a <br />motion that the building be declared a landmark by ordinance and. <br />to the Common Council; Mr. Oxian seconded; Mr. Nimtz voted nay; motion <br />carried. <br />
