November 17, 1980 <br />Page 3 <br />Ted Wasielewski commended Mr, Stamper on the fine work accomplished in <br />completing the city survey. <br />Budget and Finance <br />See under Treasurer's Report <br />Historic Districts and Standards <br />Ted Wasielewski reported that the West Washington, area is proceeding <br />along at its own pace. <br />Historic Landmarks, and Standards <br />935 S. Ironwood was tabled until the next meeting. Not all members <br />were able to see the home to make a decision on whether it,�was worthy <br />to receive landmark status. <br />62290 Miami, John Oxian made a motion to give a favorable recommendation <br />for Landmark Status. David Reinke seconded. The motion carried. <br />66401 Walnut Grove - It was -decided -that an.attempt to contact the title <br />owner in addition to the land contractee, before voting on Landmark <br />Status. <br />• Legal <br />Attorney Gaylen Allsop was unable to attend the meeting, thus there <br />was no report on Ordinance Revisions. <br />Ruth Price made an announcement regarding the revisions in the <br />State Enabling Act. <br />Public Relations and Community Education <br />No Report <br />Environmental Impact Statement <br />No Report <br />Presidential Report <br />No Report <br />Staff Report <br />A request to purchase a book: Conservation and Historic Preservation <br />Easements to Preserve North Carolina Heritage. <br />r � <br />U <br />
