Committee Reports <br />Budget)- ;& - Finance <br />Mr. Stamper presented the current balance sheets for the Small Town Survey and <br />the City Survey. (See appendices B & C) <br />Mr. Oxian suggested that a seperate account for the Small Town Survey be established <br />with Southhold Restorations, Inc. Mr. Stamper said he will study the proposal and <br />get a reading from the other funding sources as to whether they would allow it. <br />Mr. Stamper presented the proposed 1982 budget to the Commission which includes <br />a 7% increase in the Planner's salary, and a $6,000 request for the Darden Road <br />Bridge feasibility study. A letter will be sent to the County Commissioner's <br />with the budget asking them to approve the Darden Bridge study as a seperate <br />item. Mr. Ted Wasielewski made a motion to submit the budget as read by Mr. Stamper. <br />The motion was seconded by Mr. Oxian and was approved. <br />Mr. Wasielewski stated that a budget request for a secretarial position has been <br />submitted to the city controller's office. <br />Historic Districts <br />Edgewater Place <br />Mr. Stamper reported on a request by Gina De Laurel le to put log railroad ties <br />on the riverbank of their property to help stop erosion. It was decided that <br />Mr. Stamper would check on State Laws to see if there is a problem. Mr. <br />Wasielewski suggested that the problem be duscussed by the Neighborhood Association <br />and that the riverbank be treated in a uniform manner along its entire length. <br />West Washington <br />Mr. Stamper reported that the West Washington Historic District Committee is <br />continuing the formation of a Historic District and that its intentions have <br />been published in a neighborhood newsletter. <br />Historic Landmarks <br />Schoolhouses <br />Mr. Oxian reported that he received six responses agreeing to the landmark by <br />resolution for their former schoolhouse. <br />Legal <br />No Report <br />Public Relations and Community Education <br />No Report <br />
