Call to Order <br />ROOM 1123 COUNTY CITY BUILDING <br />south bend, indiana 46601 (219284-9798) <br />Third Floor Conference Room <br />Room 323 <br />County/City Building <br />Mr. John Oxian called the meeting to order at 7:50 p.m. <br />2. Roll Call <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. John Oxian, Mr. Ted Wasielewski, Mr. Charles Hayes, <br />Mrs. Joyce Sherk. <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: Mrs. Ruth Price, Mrs. Joann Sporleder, Mr. David Reinke, <br />Mr. Odell Newburn, Mr. F. Jay Nimtz <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. John Stamper, Preservation Planner, Pam Chadwick, Secretary <br />0 Jeanne Derbeck. <br />Mr. Ted Wasielewski made a motion to legalize the motions by contacting absent <br />Commission members. The motion was seconded by Mr. Charles Hayes and was carried. <br />(See Appendix A) <br />3. Approval of Minutes <br />A correction of the May 1981 minutes was made as follows: Page 2, Committee Reports, <br />Historic Districts,4th paragraph, 2nd sentence should read: "Mr. Oxian stated that <br />the liaison Committee serves as the eyes and ears of the neighborhood and must <br />report to the Commission and may report to the neighborhood association." Mr. Charles <br />Hayes made a motion to approve the minutes as corrected. It was seconded by Mr. <br />Ted Wasielewski. The motion was carried. <br />4. Treasurer's Report <br />Mr. Stamper presented the Treasurer's Report. Mr. Charles Hayes moved that the <br />Treasurer's Report be approved. Mrs. Sherk seconded the motion and it passed. <br />5. Correspondence <br />The following correspondence was received in the Commission office: <br />a. Inner City Ventures Funds, information about restoration. <br />b. An application for Grants and Aids from the Department of Natural Resources. <br />
