Committee Reports <br />Budget and Finance <br />No Report <br />Historic Districts <br />Edgewater Place Historic District <br />Mr. Stamper representing the HPC attended the Bureau of <br />Housing hearing on 609 and 617 Lincolnway East. Mr. Stamper <br />expressed the historical and architectural significance of <br />the homes and urged that the code violations be enforced <br />and the houses not be demolished. The owners of the pro- <br />perties did not attend. A new meeting was scheduled for <br />March 20th, at which time, the city will take action, either <br />through a request for bids on repair of the code violations <br />followed by a suit for re -payment, or the city may take the <br />rights of the property into receivership. <br />Report on progress of Summary Report concerning historic <br />districts - Mr. Stamper announced that in three or four <br />weeks the Commissioners will receive a brief on each of <br />the 14 recommended historic districts for their review. <br />
