October 22, 1979 <br />- Page 3 <br />Mr. Oxian moved that the house and out buildings at 19251 Roosevelt <br />Road be designated a County Historic Landmark' Mrs. Price seconded, <br />all voted in favor. <br />Mr. Ox/an proposed historic designation of the house and out buildings <br />at 59375 Myrtle Road. Mr, NYmtz seconded the motion, and the motion <br />passed unanimously. <br />Mr. 8xYan made a motion that the Morris Civic Auditorium, and the <br />North Pumping Station be designated landmarks. Mr. Nimtz seconded <br />the motion. All voted in favor. <br />Mr. Uxlan then announced that guests were present who wanted to be <br />heard at this time, and present a proposal, which they had. There <br />were no objections and Mr. Charles Hayes of 1734 E. Jefferson Blvd., <br />spoke for concerned citizens of the East Jefferson area. He discussed <br />the Bend7x Estate development, and the possibilities of its designation <br />and the area as a landmark, to preserve the status quo of the neighborhood. <br />Mr. 0xian moved that a latter be sent to the Sisters of St. Joseph <br />and the Holladay Corp., in regards to their position on declaring the <br />BandYx Estate historic landmark. It was seconded 6v Mr. Nimt� The <br />' . , <br />motion passed. <br />Mr. Nimtz and Mr. Dxian presented discussion ona letter by Mr. Gaylen <br />Allsop, outlining duties of the Counsel of the Historic Preservation <br />Commission. It was mpved that these duties be accepted by Mr. Nlmtz <br />seconded by Mr. OxYan. After talks with Mr. Dick Gantz-at the state <br />office, it was felt that a more appropriate style of lights be found. <br />
