Historic Preservation Commission called to order 7:30, 19 November, 1979 <br />by Ted Wasielewski. <br />2. Roll Call: Members present, F. Kline, John Oxian, Jay Nimtz, Odell <br />Newburn, Ted Wasielewski, R. Price, Joann Sporleder and John Stamper, <br />planner. Others present: Bill Brown and members of Southhold Restoration. <br />3. Approval of Minutes: The minutes of the October meeting had not been <br />completed before the secretary left, therefore there were no minutes read <br />or approved. <br />The order of buiness was waived so that Bill Brown could make a present- <br />ation of alternatives on Tippecanoe Place, for a Certificate of Appropriateness. <br />It was moved and seconded to do the front window as a door to look like <br />a window, keeping the original sill. It was moved and seconded that the <br />porte-cochere remain an open space. This also passed with two abstensions. <br />The architects must now take their proposal to city council because the <br />Certificate of Appropriateness was denied because of the porte-cochere. <br />4. Treasurerb Report: Ruth Price presented a line item review to see where <br />we could get money to pay John Stamper to the end of this year, and to <br />get him a full time research assistant for the month of December. John <br />Oxian moved and Jay Nimtz seconded moving line items into technical <br />assistance it was passed unanimously. It was further agreed to return to <br />the county all unused monies for the 1979 budget year. Ruth Price requested <br />that the budget committee meet in December to review again the probable <br />rearraingement of line items in the 1980 budget so that John Stamper's <br />
