She asked for sug- <br />gestions as to what should be done with this money. She also <br />had a reminder of the National Trust Workshop in Tarrytown,-' <br />New York. She hoped someone would be able to attend. A letter <br />from Mr. Hojanacki was submitted regarding Community Development <br />Funds. He suggested that the Commission attend a caucus meeting <br />with the Common Council to discuss the issue. <br />tor. Oxian then made a plea to seek County CETA funds to continue <br />the employment of Mrs. Gertrud Gilbert. He felt there might al- <br />so be a -possibility to get City CETA money for this position. <br />Ms. Davisson replied that the Commission has applied to City <br />CETA for funding for an assistant and has been accepted. <br />7. Committee Reports <br />Budget and Finance <br />Mr. John Oxian made a motion that a letter be sent to Mr. Richard <br />Jasinski regarding funding for the continued employment of Gertrud <br />Gilbert. Por. F. Jay Nimtz seconded the motion and it passed un- <br />animously. <br />Historic Districts <br />There was no report at this time. <br />Historic Landmarks <br />This was discussed previously at this meeting. <br />Legal <br />There was no report. <br />Public Relations and Education <br />Ms. Davisson mentioned that there would be an ICH meeting on <br />November 19 at Notre Dame to discuss zoning. There would be <br />a similar meeting every month until March. A discussion then <br />ensued about the new proposed zoning ordinance which is now in <br />draft form. It was suggested that a_copy be mailed to Commission <br />members. <br />Presidential Report <br />Mr. Smith said that in the interest of moving the meeting <br />along he would not give a report. <br />Consultant's Report <br />b:rs. McMahon suggested that another letter be sent to Brian <br />Crumlish regarding the ten sketches that he had contracted <br />
