Humanities Proposal <br />Ms. Schlereth stated that' she had been informed by Dean <br />Robert Burns that the Commission's proposal had been <br />funded. <br />d.)' Standards <br />.Ms. Schlereth reported that she had been informed by the <br />office of Crumlish/Sporleder that a clean copy of the <br />standards was being prepared. <br />Mr. Smith suggested that we discuss what kind of legal <br />advice the Commission should get on these standaxdsA and <br />who might be available to turn them over to. It was de- <br />cid'ed that they -should be submitted to both the County and <br />City attorneys for their advice. <br />e.) Stationary <br />A'mock-up of a letterhead prepared by Rink Riverside Printing <br />was presented by Ms. Schlereth. Mr. Smith voiced his dis- <br />pleasure with the results and it was referred back to Ms. <br />Davisson to come up with another alternative. <br />f.), - Expiration -of Terms,of Appointment <br />Mz—. Smith stated that he had received word that he has been <br />re -appointed for a three year term. <br />Ms. Schlereth reported that no word had been received from the <br />Mayor's office regarding the term of Ms. Davisson. <br />g.), Office Furniture - <br />,Mr. Oxian, moved that we purchase an electric typewriter ac- <br />cording to whatever procedures are required. Mr. Rothermel <br />seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. <br />h.) National Trust Meeting' <br />Because of a mix-up in copying Mr. Oxian's notes on the Conference <br />he could not give his report. Copies of his notes will be sent. <br />out with the minutes., and -Commission members should readthem <br />I and note any areas that they would like Mr. Oxian to discuss at <br />the next regular meeting. <br />i.) Landmarks Committee <br />Mr. Oxian reported that letters had been sent to-alltheproperty <br />owners (except for the University of Notre Dame) that had been <br />listed on the oldstatesurvey. <br />
