Mr. Oxian moved that the lawyer or real estate agent for Penn-Central Transportation Company, owner of Union Station, be invited to the next meeting of the HPC; if sold before then, that the new owner be invited; and that pertinent information from the thesis be made available to the parties mentioned herein. Motion seconded by Mr. Nimtz. Motion carried. Mrs. Sporleder agreed to report on the historical and architectural significance of the South Shore building at the next meeting of the Com- mission. c. Historic Districts' Committee Mr. Nimtz introduced Mrs. Price who reported on the progress on preparing the West Washington Avenue Historic District proposal for placing the district on the National Register. She explained the map colors and the rating scale for evaluating the significance of each structure in the district. She outlined the tentative boundaries being proposed. It behooves the HPC to cooperate, accept, and support the West Washington Avenue Historic District proposal being prepared by the Southhold Restorations, Inc. Mrs. Price will report at the next meeting of the HPC on further revisions and progress. 7. Old Business a. Terms of Office County Council's appointees: Mr. Baker, term expires ? Mr. Paszek, term expires ? The secretary was instructed to ask Mr. Paszek to obtain the terms of these two appointees from the county council.
