Minutes, April 8, 1974 <br />-2- <br />thesis are to be reproduced and used as a reference for the HPC, the <br />potential buyers, and the future owners. <br />Mr. Oxian moved that the lawyer or real estate agent for Penn-Central <br />Transportation Company, owner of Union Station, be invited to the next <br />meeting of the HPC; if sold before then, that the new owner be invited; <br />and that pertinent information from the thesis be made available to the <br />parties mentioned herein. Motion seconded by Mr. Nimtz. Motion carried. <br />Mrs. Sporleder agreed to report on the historical and architectural <br />significance of the South Shore building at the next meeting of the Com- <br />mission. <br />c. Historic Districts' Committee <br />Mr. Nimtz introduced Mrs. Price who reported on the progress on <br />preparing the West Washington Avenue Historic District proposal for placing <br />the district on the National Register. She explained the map colors and <br />the rating scale for evaluating the significance of each structure in the <br />district. She outlined the tentative boundaries being proposed. <br />It behooves the HPC to cooperate, accept, and support the West Washington <br />Avenue Historic District proposal being prepared by the Southhold Restorations, <br />Inc. Mrs. Price will report at the next meeting of the HPC on further <br />revisions and progress. <br />7. Old Business <br />a. Terms of Office <br />County Council's appointees: <br />Mr. Baker, term expires ? <br />Mr. Paszek, term expires ? <br />The secretary was instructed to ask Mr. Paszek to obtain the terms of <br />these two appointees from the county council. <br />Mayor's appointees: Tw o <br />Mrs. Davisson, term expires October 31, 1975 (0" Year) <br />Mr. Nimtz, term expires October 31,'1976 (aZ" ears) <br />County Commissioner's Appointees: <br />Mr. Oxian, term expires November 13, 1976 1 ! , (Two Years) <br />Mr. Smith, term expires November 13, 19757Y (One Year) <br />City Council's appointees: <br />Mrs. Woolridge, term expires January 28, 1976 (Two Years) <br />Mr. Rothermel, term expires January 28, 1975 (One Year) <br />The Commission's appointee: <br />Mrs. Sporleder, term expires January 28, 1976 (Two Years) <br />b.
