NEW BUSINFSS (Cont.) <br />a. continued... <br />The staff feels that Mr. Magaldi is the <br />logical purchaser for the parcel he wishes <br />to buy and recommends the Commission <br />accept his offer of $400 for 207 E. Ohio <br />Street, contingent on agreement between <br />Mr. Magaldi and the staff on a landscaping <br />plan. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Hojnacki, seconded <br />by Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission accepted the proposal <br />from Mr. Magaldi for 207 E. Ohio Street, <br />contingent on his submitting an acceptable <br />landscaping plan for the parcel. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that the Commission has <br />also received two proposals for Disposition <br />Parcel No. 11, located in the block <br />bounded by Garst, Franklin, Lafayette, and <br />Stull. Charles Hayes, Inc. has proposed to <br />purchase approximately two thirds of <br />Parcel No. 11 in order to locate a radio <br />communication tower there. Practical <br />Construction, Inc. has also submitted a <br />proposal for one -third of Parcel No. 11 to <br />construct a 5,000 square foot <br />manufacturing facility. They expect they <br />would construct a 5,000 square foot <br />expansion after about a year. These two <br />offers overlap in terms of the property they <br />want to buy. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that Practical <br />Construction, Inc. and Charles Hays, Inc. <br />are aware of each other's proposal and <br />believe that they can agree to share the <br />-5- <br />COMMISSION ACCEPTED THE PROPOSAL <br />FROM MR.
