The staff recommends postponing a <br />decision while the staff works with both <br />parties to find a mutually acceptable <br />solution. <br />The Commission heard a presentation from <br />both Practical Construction Inc. and <br />Charles Hays Inc. on their proposals. <br />Mr. Hayes noted that they have had a <br />facility in Monroe Industrial Park for <br />several years. They also have a tower in <br />the Airport Industrial Park. Those towers <br />are filled to capacity. There are a number <br />of new wireless communications about to <br />come in to the market that will require <br />additional space. He said they are a good <br />neighbor with no outdoor storage, no <br />signage, no traffic, no trash, and a nicely <br />landscaped lot. <br />Mr. Smith said that Practical Construction <br />wants to construct a building for Fastenal <br />which makes fasteners. They'd like to get <br />out of their present location into a larger <br />building. Fastenal would like to add a line <br />of tools in about a year. Practical <br />Construction will take out the brush on the <br />lot and put in some pine trees, keeping <br />what good landscaping is there. They'll <br />build a building with lots of windows and <br />block walls which they believe will <br />enhance the area around them. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that with the sale of this <br />parcel, in some configuration, to Practical <br />Ka <br />
