South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - October 6, 1995 <br />3. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS (Cont.) <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Auburn, seconded by <br />Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Claims submitted <br />October 6, 1995. <br />4. COMMUNICATIONS <br />There were no Communications. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />There was no Old Business. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Staff report on disposition of land in the <br />Sample -Ewing Development Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that Philip Magaldi, <br />owner of Bud's Laundry Supply, located at <br />222 E. Sample Street, wishes to purchase <br />the Redevelopment -owned lot immediately <br />south of his property. The lot is <br />approximately 2300 square feet. Mr. <br />Magaldi has offered $400 for the lot. The <br />fair re-use value was set by the <br />Commission at $315. Mr. Magaldi intends <br />to landscape the lot for the time being and <br />keep it for possible future expansion. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that about a year <br />ago the Commission accepted a proposal <br />from Mr. Magaldi to trade thislot for a <br />parcel the Commission wanted to buy from <br />Mr. Magaldi.
