South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - May 19, 1995 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. continued... <br />May 8, 1995 she sent a copy of the Notice <br />of Hearing of the affected property owners <br />and registered neighborhood associations and <br />neighborhood leaders; 5) A copy of <br />Resolution No. 1342 which is the subject of <br />hte Public Hearing; and 6) as of 10:00 a.m. <br />May 19, 1995 there were 0 written <br />remonstrances received. <br />Resolution No. 1342 adds one property to <br />the acquisition lsit for the Sample -Ewing <br />Development Area. That property is the <br />Miller Faint Store located on South <br />Lafayette Street just north of Sample Street. <br />If the resoltuion is approved, then a <br />purchase offer would be sent for that <br />property at a later date. <br />Mr. Faccenda opened the Public Hearing <br />and asked if there was anyone who wished <br />to speak either for or against this issue. <br />There was no one who wished to speak. <br />Mr. Faccenda closed the Public Hearing. <br />b. Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1342. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Auburn, seconded by <br />Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 1342. <br />c. Staff report on disposition of property in <br />the Sample -Ewing Development Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata read the staff report on the <br />proposal. Midwest Machine Products, Inc. <br />-4- <br />
