Ms. Auburn explained that the <br />Commission realizes that it would probably <br />have to sustain that cost to sell that property <br />to anyone. <br />Mrs. Kolata also noted that the Gorny <br />proposal did not call for development on the <br />property other than a parking lot and <br />loading area. Our bid specifications for the <br />lot called for construction of a building. <br />The Firefighters' Federal Credit Union <br />proposal is a $200,000 project. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Public Hearing on Resolution No. 1293 <br />amending the South Bend Central <br />Development Area Development Plan. <br />Mrs. Kolata asked that the following items <br />be entered into the record: 1) An original of <br />the "Notice of Hearing of the South Bend <br />Central Development Area Development <br />Plan; 2) An affidavit of Carol Smith, <br />Advertising Manager of the South Bend <br />Tribune, that the Notice of Hearing was <br />published in that daily newspaper on <br />October 21, 1994; 3) An affidavit of Lisa J. <br />Andrysiak, Classified Manager of the <br />Tri- County News, that the Notice of <br />Hearing was published in that weekly <br />newspaper on October 21, 1994; 4) A memo <br />from Ann Kolata that on October 24, 1994 <br />she sent a copy of the Notice of Hearing to <br />-6- <br />
