NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />c. continued... <br />establishing an allocation area for purposes of <br />tax incremental financing. <br />Mrs. Kolata asked to enter the following <br />items into the record: 1) an original of the <br />Notice of Public Hearing of the Sample - <br />Ewing Development Area; 2) An affidavit of <br />Carol Smith, Advertising Manager of the <br />South Bend Tribune, that the Notice of <br />Hearing was published in that daily <br />newspaper on January 21, 1994; 3) An <br />affidavit of Lisa J. Andrysiak, Classified <br />Manager of the Tri- County News, that the <br />Notice of Hearing was published in that <br />weekly newspaper on January 21, 1994; 4) A <br />statement from Ann Kolata that a Statement <br />to Taxing Units located within the Sample - <br />Ewing Development Area was sent to the <br />taxing jurisdictions on January 31, 1994; 5) <br />A statement from Martha Lantz that on <br />January 21, 1994, she delivered a copy of the <br />Notice of Public Hearing to Kathy Orlowski <br />at the South Bend Park Department, Becky <br />Neese at the Building Department and Board <br />of Zoning Appeals, Sharon Roth at the Area <br />Plan Commission and Sandra Parmerlee at <br />the Board of Public Works; 6) An original <br />copy of the Area Plan Commission's <br />Resolution No. 118 which deals with the <br />subject of the Public Hearing; 7) A certified <br />copy of Resolution No. 2089 -94 of the <br />Common Council of the City of South Bend <br />relative to the subject of the Public Hearing; <br />8) A copy of Resolution No. 1207 of the <br />South Bend Redevelopment Commission; <br />-8- <br />
