NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />a. continued... <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that the appropriation <br />for the South Bend Central Development <br />Area, in the amount of $400,000, includes <br />the income to be generated by the Wayne <br />Street Parking Garage and by the retail space <br />in the Palais Royale, as well as money for <br />public works improvements and other <br />activities in the South Bend Central <br />Development Area. The income from the <br />parking garage and the Palais Royale retail <br />space will be used for operational expenses <br />for the facilities. <br />Ms. Auburn opened the Public Hearing for PUBLIC HEARING ON RESOLUTION NO. 1216 <br />anyone who wished to speak. There was no <br />one who wished to speak. Ms. Auburn <br />closed the Public Hearing. <br />b. Commission approval reduested for <br />Resolution No. 1216. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, seconded by <br />Mr. Piasecki and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 1216 a <br />Supplemental Appropriation Resolution of the <br />City of South Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission (South Bend Central <br />Development Area) . <br />c. Public Hearine on Resolution No. 1222 <br />confirming Resolution No. 1207, designating <br />the Sample -Ewing Development Area, <br />declaring the Sample -Ewing Development <br />Area to be blighted, approving a <br />Development Plan and conditions under <br />which relocation payments will be made, and <br />ti <br />
