The site improvements, buildings, <br />blacktop parking area, landscaping and <br />improvements to the existing building will <br />cost $100,000. All construction and <br />landscaping will be done in accordance with <br />the specifications outlined by the <br />Commission and will be completed within <br />18 months of acceptance of the proposal. <br />Mr. Fedder noted that the area has been an <br />eyesore. They hope that their improvements <br />will encourage other improvements in the <br />area. They expect to begin construction in <br />spring of 1994. <br />Mr. Sharp asked what would be stored <br />outside. Mr. Fedder responded that pallets, <br />empty oxygen cylinders, etc., might be <br />stored outside, not flammable goods. <br />Mr. Sharp asked if the storage areas would <br />be screened. Mr. Fedder responded that <br />they would be. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that the project will be <br />going through design review for approval. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that the second bid was <br />from Old Fort Building Supply for Parcel B. <br />The amount of the bid is $12,750 for a total <br />of .69228 acres. Old Fort proposes to <br />replace its existing outside storage area, <br />presently one block north of Broadway, with <br />Parcel B. In addition, the parking area <br />would be added by the acquisition of <br />property at the corner of Main Street and <br />in <br />
