We are proposing to send a <br />purchase offer to the previous owner and <br />proceed with condemnation if we cannot <br />get a timely settlement of that lawsuit. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Piasecki, seconded <br />by Ms. Huddleston and unanimously <br />carried, the Commission approved <br />Resolution No. 1059 relating to <br />acquisition of property within the West <br />Washington- Chapin Development Area by <br />Eminent Domain. <br />d. Commission approval requested for <br />proposal from Peirce & Associates to <br />prepare survey for minor subdivision <br />(replat) in the Studebaker Corridor <br />Development Area. <br />Mrs. o ata explained K 1 1 ined that Peirce & <br />Associates has done all of the surveys of <br />the individual lots in Studebaker <br />Corridor for our acquisition. They have <br />proposed to prepare the documentation <br />required for the replat of all of our <br />acquired property except Block 4 for a <br />cost of $6,500. The staff recommends <br />accepting the proposal. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Huddleston, seconded <br />by Mr. Piasecki and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission accepted the proposal from <br />Peirce & Associates to prepare a survey <br />for minor subdivision (replat) in the <br />Studebaker Corridor Development Area. <br />e. Commission approval requested for <br />proposal from EIS Environmental <br />Engineers, Inc., to perform environmental <br />testing in the Studebaker Corridor <br />Development Area (Transwestern Building). <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that we had <br />environmental testing performed on the <br />property of the Transwestern Building <br />before we demolished it.
