Upon a motion by Ms. Huddleston, seconded by Mr. Piasecki and unanimously carried, the Commission appointed Carl Works, Tom Miller, Richard Johnson, James Mullins, John Leszczynski, Don Fozo, Ann Kolata, and Eugenia Braboy to the West Was ington- Chapin Development Area Design Rev ew Committee for a two -year term beg nning January 1, 1992. Mrs Kolata noted that we sent out a Request for Expressions of Interest to developers and contractors around the country. We received approximately thirty responses that need to be followed up on. Each of the responses will re (:piire an individual response from us. Under this contract Ralph Basile will write letters to the respondents asking for formal proposals related to the Ai ort 2010 project. The work will be com leted in four to six weeks at a cost of 14,900. We will be asking for one of two types of proposals: 1) a designated developer who wou d privately develop the golf course and the office sites and be named the developer of record for disposition of the Airport 2010 property; and 2) a disposition marketing agent for the City who would assist the City in development of all aspects of the project except the golf course which would be publicly developed. Ralph Basile has completed his technical package which includes inf rmation on market analysis for both gol course, office and hotel.
