Too often, governments are <br />pitted against software vendors that have negotiated contracts many times before. <br />Understandably, software vendors and their implementation partners want to maximize <br />profit and minimize risk. GFOA has developed a unique contracting methodology, using <br />our membership network, to benchmark prices and terms. We propose to use this <br />methodology which also ensures that <br />contract for this engagement. <br /> <br />GFOA will be involved with developing a software license contract, software <br />maintenance agreement, hosting agreement, software-as-a-service agreement, <br />implementation services agreement or any other required to procure the chosen <br />statement of work, a critical document. The statement of work outlines responsibility <br />for the implementation, and it is the primary reason GFOA consultants provide such a <br />high level of detailed analysis throughout the procurement.
