There's one 20 acre <br />pa=el that he might have been able to <br />buy but he thinks it's out of the <br />question. They wanted $60,000 for that. <br />We 4on 't have that kind of money. <br />Mr. Pendl asked the Commission if it <br />thought they should came out of this <br />witlicut being hurt in any way. <br />Mr. Donoho stated that the issue before <br />us is a lease to be executed with the <br />Auttiority. That's the issue. My ethics <br />aren't the issue. This lease involves <br />infrastructure in a total project, not <br />just; your land. There are entities that <br />have. no private sector involvement <br />whatsoever that will be delayed because <br />of the delay of this resolution. I have <br />caq)let;e sympathy with what you are <br />say but I can't do anything until I <br />see the appraisals. <br />Mr. rendl stated to the Commission that <br />the golf course part is not a small <br />element, that golf course is the key <br />Ms. Kolata stated that the project <br />wittout the golf course would still go. <br />We till have the need for business sites <br />and that general area would be for those <br />purl oses. There is no sure bet at this <br />point that any particular business, <br />whether its an office building or <br />mant.facturing building, is going to be a <br />dea certain development. There is no <br />assuirance on that. <br />Mr. <br />dl said that he's retiring in two <br />and you are putting their lives on <br />You don't even know if this <br />is going to go. <br />-21- <br />
