The <br />sale will be held at the Jefferson St. <br />gar4ge this year instead of the Colfax <br />St. I garage- <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Auburn, seconded by <br />Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, the <br />'ssion approved the request for use <br />of the parking lots on Parcels C4 -3 and <br />C4-30 for the World's Largest Garage Sale <br />on Jun 9, 1990. <br />Mrs Kolata noted that in addition to the <br />app ication we have submitted to the <br />Sta of Indiana for Toll Road Funds for <br />imp ovements in the Airport Economic <br />Devi lcpment Area, we are also considering <br />us' q tax increment to finance public <br />improvements needed in conjunction with <br />pri to development. <br />We lave previously hired H.J. Umbaugh and <br />Associates as financial advisor to look <br />at the potential of doing tax increment <br />financing ' in the area. Preliminary <br />'cations are that we will be able to <br />iss4e TIF bonds. We would like to hire <br />bond counsel to structure the bond. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that we have received a <br />letter from Baker and Daniels regarding <br />their experience as bond counsel.
