C <br />R <br />boundaries <br />De-,elognent <br />Redevelopment Commission <br />- February 23, 1990 <br />(Cont.) <br />'ssion aDDroyal reauested for <br />olution No. 908 the <br />of the West Wash' on-Cha in <br />Area the <br />Allocation <br />Area for purposes of Tax <br />Increggent <br />Financing, amend' the <br />Plan. <br />Develoummt <br />Mrs. <br />Kolata entered the following items <br />related <br />to the public hearing into the <br />record: <br />1) an original Notice of Hearing <br />on <br />the Amendment to the West <br />Wa <br />gton- Chapin Area Development Plan; <br />2) <br />m affidavit from Carol Smith, <br />Cla5sified <br />Manager of the South Bend <br />Tr' <br />une, that the Notice of Hearing was <br />pub <br />ished in that newspaper on February <br />9, <br />990; 3) an affidavit from Brian <br />Kni <br />ple, owner of the Tri- County News, <br />tha <br />the Notice of Public Hearing was <br />published <br />in that newspaper on February <br />9, <br />990; 4) a list of the property owners <br />affected <br />by Resolution No. 908 who were <br />sen <br />a copy of the legal notice on <br />February <br />8, 1990; 5) copies of letters <br />sen <br />to four affected neighborhood <br />orcj <br />mizations (Near Westside Neighborhood <br />Ong <br />mization, South Bend Heritage <br />Fou <br />idation, West Washington - Chapin <br />Rev <br />talization Project, and the Urban <br />En <br />rise Association), mailed on <br />Feb <br />8, 1990; 6) a copy of Resolution <br />No. <br />908 which is the subject of the <br />Public <br />Hearing. As of 10:00 a.m. <br />Feb1mary <br />23, 1990, two written <br />renOnstrances <br />have been received. <br />Mr. Nimtz asked if there was objection to <br />entExing these items into the record. <br />Theae was no objection and the items were <br />received into the record. <br />Mr. Norris: The Plan and everything we <br />hay done to bring us here today is the <br />result of cooperation between the City, <br />the Redevelopment Commission, and the <br />neighborhood.
