NEW BU <br />j . co. <br />k. <br />1. <br />elopment Commission <br />- February 23, 1990 <br />(Cont.) <br />Mr. Ninrtz concluded the Public Hearing <br />for whatever action the Commission <br />desires to take. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Combs, seconded by <br />Mr. Piasecki and unanimously carried, the <br />Ccmi.ission approved Resolution No. 909, <br />amrbmg the base assessment date for a <br />portion of the South Bend Central <br />Allocation Area for purposes of Tax <br />In ement Financing. <br />Mrs Kolata entered into the record the <br />fol owing items related to the public <br />h ea. *ing: 1) an affidavit from Carol Smith <br />tha the Notice of <br />H ing was published in that newspaper <br />on February 9, 1990; 2) an affidavit of <br />Brian Knipple, owner of the Tri- County <br />News that the Notice of Hearing was <br />published in that newspaper on February <br />9, 990; and, 3) a copy of Resolution No. <br />911 <br />Mr. JNhmtz asked if there was objection to <br />r iving these items into the record. <br />Theute was no objection and they were so <br />recdived. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that Resolution No. <br />911 allows for the direct expenditure of <br />tax increment finance funds.
