Version 6-8-2017 <br />APPENDIX"D" <br />Compensation <br />A. Amount of Payment <br />1. The CONSULTANT shall receive payment for the work performed under this Contract. The <br />total amount not to exceed is $ 95,000 unless an amendment is executed by the parties which <br />increases the maximum amount payable and funding approval, (Section 2 - $66,200, Section <br />3 - $22,800, and Section 4 - $6,000). <br />2. The CONSULTANT shall be paid for the work performed under this Contract on a lump sum <br />basis in accordance with the following fees: <br />a. Al for Environmental Document Preparation — Appendix "A" Task 1 $ 4,000.00 <br />b. Road Design & Plan Development Appendix "A" Task 2 57,200.00 <br />c. Utility Coordination - Appendix "A" Task 3 $ 5,000.00 <br />Total $ 66,200.00 <br />3. Applicable rates following the <br />base period shall be adjusted annually effective July lst of each subsequent calendar year. <br />The adjustment will be the 12 month percent change, as of December 31, 20NX, as compared <br />to December 31, 20NX-1 in the Employment Cost Index. Negative percentages of change <br />will result in decreases in the rates. INDOT reserves the right, annually as described herein, <br />and after consideration of other relevant economic and financial factors to make fair and <br />reasonable rate adjustments differing from the ECI when considered to be in the best interest <br />of the State of Indiana. Employment Cost Index is defined as the "Employment Cost Index, <br />Wages and Salaries (not seasonally adjusted), for private industry workers, professional, <br />D-1 <br />
