Mrs. <br />Ko , -ata responded that Co mmmity <br />Development Block Grant funds are <br />typically used for neighborhood <br />projects. Money for economic development <br />been severely cut in recent years and <br />this is one method of funding economic <br />d elopment. Decisions are based, in <br />larcre part, on the restrictions involved <br />wi. the use of the various funds. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Piasecki, seconded <br />by Ms. Auburn and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission approved Resolution No. <br />877 authorizing reimbursement to the City <br />of South Bend for expenditures made <br />wi#iin the Rum Village Industrial Park. <br />ne Fowler <br />E. Kolata noted that the agenda listing <br />is in error and approval is requested <br />o y for the loan, not for a proposal. <br />Th cost estimate for the rehab of the <br />s' le unit, three bedroom home is <br />$2(,745. The law bid was from Paul Davis <br />at $18,038.70.
