OLD BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />•1�6_r•)i 1-to i Alj Ik � <br />fr a UDAG grant on TIF eligible public <br />rovements connected with the New <br />Energy project. Resolution No. 877 <br />re urses the City $150,000 from the Rum <br />Village Industrial Park tax increment <br />fund for a portion of those <br />tures. Part of the reimbursement <br />is targeted to be spent as the City's <br />match of a state grant for infrastructure <br />for two projects: Communication Test <br />De4ign in the Airport Industrial Park and <br />ican Molding in the Toll Road <br />trial Park. <br />Aimxican Molding is planning a $650,000 <br />40,000 square foot building, intending to <br />use 20,000 square feet for themselves and <br />20,000 square feet to lease out. The <br />project will bring 25 new jobs to this <br />ar . The infrastructure that is needed <br />for this project is the construction of <br />an access road and the extension of water <br />lines, storm sewers and sanitary sewers <br />to the property at a cost of $110,621. <br />The City's share of those costs will be <br />$1E,010. The County is contributing <br />$8,000, the Industrial Foundation is <br />co tributing $29,619, and the State of <br />'Indiana has awarded the City a grant for <br />$5 ,000. <br />Ccmutunication Test Design will be adding <br />18 new jobs to the area within two <br />y . The City's portion of this <br />prcdect is $13,700. The State of Indiana <br />has awarded a grant to the City for <br />$11,000. <br />The remainder of the $150,000 will be <br />usEd by the Department of Economic <br />elcpment to make public works <br />hqiravements to the area just north of <br />Seitz Park, including the construction of <br />a Farking lot, landscaping and lighting <br />to create a more park -like effect. <br />-3- <br />
