Hunt read into the record the letter <br />frdm Ms. Nusbaum: <br />Ap�il 22, 1987 <br />Mr. Jon Hunt <br />Department of Redevelopment <br />City of South Bend <br />County City Building <br />South Bend, Indiana 46601 <br />Re: Vacant Lot, 300 Block of Niles Avenue <br />Located between LaSalle and Colfax Avenues <br />Dezjr Mr. Hunt: <br />Between now and the end of August, the <br />Commerce Center will have volunteers for <br />the 1987 International Special Olympics <br />using our facility. <br />So that we may be able to accomodate the <br />extra cars during this period, we would <br />appreciate the use of the vacant lot next <br />to the Race between Colfax and LaSalle on <br />Niles Avenue. We would limit the use to <br />Sp cial Olympics Volunteers only. <br />We have asked our insurance carrier to <br />pr vide you with a certificate of <br />in urance for liability coverage on this <br />pr perty should use be granted. <br />Very truly yours, <br />COMMERCE CENTER <br />De nna Y.
