Continued... <br />Mr. Hunt noted the City has an easement along <br />the riverbank on Parcels E2 -1 and E2 -2 in the <br />East Bank. The staff is recommending that <br />trees along the riverbank be trimmed and /or <br />r ved in order to open up the area for a <br />vie of the river. <br />Three proposals were requested. A bid was <br />received from Custom& Moore Tree Service not <br />to exceed $4,000, Cannady Tree Service in the <br />amoimt of $4,500 and Underly Tree Service in <br />the amount of $1,400. The staff recommends <br />acc pting the low bid from Underly Tree <br />Se ice. The work is targeted for completion <br />by quly 15th. <br />Upom a motion made by Mr. Combs, seconded by COMMISSION ACCEPTED A <br />Mr. Piasecki and unanimously carried, the PROPOSAL FROM UNDERLY TREE <br />Co ssion accepted a proposal from Underly SERVICE IN CONNECTION WITH <br />Tree Service in connection with work in the WORK IN THE SOUTH BEND <br />South Bend Central Development Area. CENTRAL DEVELOPMENT AREA <br />e. C ssion approval requested for proposal <br />from Peirce & Associates for survey work in <br />the South Bend Central Development Area. <br />Mr. Hunt noted that the staff received three <br />proposals. A bid was received from Palm & <br />Associates not to exceed $6,500 to be <br />co leted within 60 days, Peirce & Associates <br />not to exceed $2,800 to be completed within <br />three weeks, and Territorial Engineering not <br />to Exceed $7,900 to be completed within 20 <br />days. This work is for a survey of the layout <br />of the public right of way that will serve as <br />acc ss to the fish ladder, the Seitz Park area <br />and the parking lot to be developed at a later <br />dat . In order for these improvements to move <br />ahe4d, the land survey must be completed. <br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Auburn, seconded by COMMISSION ACCEPTED A <br />Mr. Combs and unanimously carried, the PROPOSAL FROM PEIRCE & <br />ComnLission accepted a proposal from Peirce & ASSOCIATES FOR SURVEY WORK <br />Associates for survey work in the South Bend IN THE SOUTH BEND CENTRAL <br />Central Development Area.
