Continued... <br />Mr. Piasecki requested that Mr. Leverman <br />research costs of other water heaters <br />installed in the past under the Emergency <br />Repair Program and compare the costs of the <br />various companies. <br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Auburn, seconded by <br />Mr. Combs and unanimously carried, the <br />Co ssion approved proposals and grants in <br />connection with the Emergency Repair Program <br />as listed above. <br />b. ConmLission. approval requested fora propos <br />and loan in connection with the Section 31 <br />Loan Program in accordance with the <br />reccnmiendation from the Bureau of Housing. <br />Nam Contractor <br />Dor s Brown Circle Lumber, Inc. <br />517 Kosciuszko Doris Brown <br />Mr. Hunt noted for the record that Ms. Brown <br />is a City employee but no conflict of interest <br />exists because the employee does not work for <br />the Department of Redevelopment. <br />Mr. Hunt explained that Circle Lumber will be <br />doi g the major rehab work and Ms. Brown will <br />perform the minor repairs. The amount of <br />$1,317.00 is for materials for work performed <br />by Ms. Brown. Ms. Brown's work falls under <br />the same inspection process as a general <br />con ractor and she will submit receipts for <br />all materials used. <br />Mr. Leverman will notify Ms. Brown that <br />ins allation of a smoke detector is required. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Combs, seconded by <br />Ms, Auburn and unanimously carried, the <br />Comrission approved a proposal and loan in <br />connection with the Section 312 Loan Program <br />as listed above. <br />c.
